Hello fellow drummers. I hope this message finds you all well. Strange days indeed. We were just starting to relax the lockdown laws in my state and then with a few extra cases reappearing...we've been thrown back into tighter restrictions and all that goes with it. Enough to send one mad;) This is just a 'heads up' that there will be a shorter version (But just as awesome) of the July Darbuka Challenge this year. I've really enjoyed the last three 'mini-challenges we have all done together during this challenging period and I hope this JDC will prove the best so far. The start date is set for Saturday 4th July at 10am AEST (GMT+10) and will run for 8 glorious days. Unlike the previous challenges, the JDC is for FoF members only. Each session will be live streamed from the Fingers of Fury Facebook page like before; the opening session however, will be via Zoom. I have a very special guest joining us for this so get excited! I will record the Zoom session for those that can't make it 'live' and as always the facebook sessions remain on the page for later viewing. Lock it in, drummers!

JDC 2020 UPDATE!!! Hello everyone, I have had to change the dates for the JDC. It will now begin on the 11/6/2020 (Saturday) and not the 4th as stated above. Remember this will be Friday afternoon for those in the USA. All sessions will remain available for those that can't manage the timezone limitations. Otherwise...see the above message and join in on the challenge. Looking forward to it very much! Matt

Welcome Asim! Great to have you with us. I'm hoping as many can make it live as possible but understand if you can't. Looking forward to some drumming!

Hey Paul, It involves one hours practice per day. It starts in under an hours time actually; if you can't make it the link will be available for you to watch at a time that suits. You'll love it. Matt

The link for Day 1 of the JDC is now live- you can find it at the top of the FoF members page once you've logged in.

Hi, I missed the fact that July 11 is actually the 10th for those of us in Canada, so I didn't get a chance to see opening day live. However, when I click the link for day 1, zoom is asking for a password, and the day 2 password does not work. Am I missing something? Thanks!
