Yes, you read it correctly, drummers....a challenge!!!
I think it's time for another darbuka challenge due to the immense amount of stress that many people are experiencing given the current situation.
This April Darbuka Challenge will run from April 1st for one week and requires 30 minutes practice each day. Keep an eye out for the latest newsletter from FoF with more details. I will provide some ideas each day and help inspire everyone here to get the most from this mini-challenge. Get your drums ready my friends!

Yes indeed!
I have changed the date to begin this Friday 10am (Melbourne time) as to allow myself extra preparation time.
I'll live streaming my own sessions each day on the FoF facebook page and of course, there will be happenings here also.
I. Can't. Wait!!!

Going to check out the new videos. Just finished watching the FB video - today I will try to be there when you're live. It was really good to see your approach to practicing. I've been trying to get some finger strength with the Turkish style. I am partial to drills and repetition and found it reassuring to see how you incorporate this into your practice. I'm all about making music but really want to be good with technique. It was helpful to see that the process of learning is not to be feared, but enjoyed. Thank you!
