"This will transform the drumming community more than any dvd, book or workshop series could ever do, and I've purchased every dvd, book and attended every workshop in the USA at one point or another!"

July Darbuka Challenge

Day 20
Only a couple of days left! That went fast. Tomorrow is the last day of this years challenge. It is very good timing for me, I started the challenge just as i returned from a tour with a band and I am leaving for a 3 week tour the day after it finishes. Talk about squeezing things in.
There is no sound file today. I am just going to pick up my drum and put in a solid hour. I will say this though, I feel with my 'compressed' hour as if I have just played for five hours. This style of practice of the 'continuous flow of ideas' is really intense. It is the most potent way I am yet to practice. It's like a Roger Ramjet proton pill!
Enjoy this second last day of the challenge and take time to reflect on what's changed for you over these last few weeks. Can you play the Tihai's? Rolls within the rhythm? Continuous flow of ideas? What else is happening?
Enjoy today's drumming.
