"This will transform the drumming community more than any dvd, book or workshop series could ever do, and I've purchased every dvd, book and attended every workshop in the USA at one point or another!"

I have a confession! I will be doing three challenges my friends. One is the 'JDC' and the other two are the 'JMC' and the 'JGC.' What are you talking about Matt i hear you say? Well, i have decided that after i complete my 'JDC' hour i will then split another hour in half and do my own mandolin half hour challenge followed by a guitar challenge also! I have recently had the flame reignited on my guitar after many years of neglect and it feels amazing to be back on it again with fresh new goals.

I have decided that I don't wish to be the best player in the entire universe, rather I would like to learn songs and sing with friends around the open fire on a chilly night. As for my mandolin playing, I really need to learn all of the different chords and would love to be able to play a few fast country phrases and one day play a country music festival ripping up the fret board whilst wearing my shiny leather boots and hat.
Sound like fun? Well it sure does to me. I love a bit of variety and that is what I shall be doing. I also need to keep that musical and cultural balance of being an Australian that plays an Arabic instrument as a career.

Enjoy Day 1 drummers, play, dream, create.
