Ok, lets start drumming!!!
First, here are a few tips to get the most out of the site:
The Fingers of Fury book was written over a four year period based on more than twenty years experience. I am telling you this so you soak in everypage! Rather than racing through the book in search of all things flashy, open to page 1 and absorb everything there. There is no rush. When you became a member of Fingers of Fury you didn't just join a drumming website, you committed yourself to studying Arabic percussion for the next year and becoming the best you could possibly become!!!
The same goes for the tutorial videos: to date there are more than 70 video's to learn from. There is alot of information to absorb, so once again dont feel the need to rush. There will also be new video's added every month and topics discussed.
It is highly recommended that you experience the video's through some external computer speakers. These are cheap to buy yet offer a much more enjoyable experience for the user. Many also include a small sub woofer for the bass. I say this also due to the fact that some of the video's have a low voice level. The drum sounds will always be highly audible on cheap 'inbuilt' speakers but the voice level may suffer.
To maintain a high standard of quality throughout the e-book you will notice that the download files are quite large. The reason for this is that there are alot of high resolution images included in order to help optimise the readers experience.
So there you go! It is very early days here at Fingers of Fury and we look forward to a horizon of endless possibilities. It is an honour to be sharing this site with you and remember you are always welcome to share your own knowledge or ask for advice in the Community Forum.
