FOF- WHAT'S NEW?

Wanting to improve your musical skills fellow drummers? Looking to spice up your practice sessions? Well look no further! Drum roll please...I have just created the perfect free booklet to help you and your drum along this rhythmical path. Inside you will find many helpful hints, practice session layouts and words of wisdom. I have catered for both first time beginners and high level advanced players. You will also find practice routines and a stack of wonderful advice. Now nothing is stopping you!
Naturally being a person of analogue, I would recommend you print out the pdf file, kick your feet up, relax and enjoy the read. Oh, incase you are wondering about the drums in this picture, they are by Quentin Shaw over at Q-Drums.

Lev Elman Riq

The second in a series of tutorial videos from Lev Elman is now ready for your fingers. You can find this video in the technique masterclass video gallery. In this video Lev shows the triple roll for the Riq. I am absolutely loving having Lev here at 'FoF' teaching us all these fantastic techniques for the Riq. What a player! I am also starting to wonder just how long I will be able to resist buying one of his hand made master pieces. They sound incredible. Faisal Zedan is one of my favourite drummers around, lot's of fun to jam with, a deep knowledge of traditional styles of Arabic music and a humble relaxed person.
